Back to Witcher 3, core clocking at 1949. With GPU usage at 95% and FPS at 167, nice to see that this old I7980X is at least somewhat keeping up with the FTW 1080.

167 FPS? Nice. Do you have Nvidia Hairworks on/maxed?

After finishing Doom 2016 campaign ( that was exhausting :)) going for a ride in Project Cars. Graphics cranked up are quite nice.

Love that game... the Graphics are some of the best. I just got a G29 wheel for it the other week.

No, hairworks off. I tried it once with my 770's. Didn't really care for the feature and definitely not the performance hit. Other settings are Ultra/high per Geforce Experience. Using GFE just to see how it lines up an old I7980X with a 1080. Enjoying finally stressing this 144 HZ monitor.

Agreed, Seek. Graphics are great. One of the things I like best about Project Cars is the freedom to run just about any car on any track. G29 is nice. I'm still using my old Logitech Momo Force.

FYI guys, yesterday I bought Rise of the Tomb Raider again (after returning it previously with FPS in the teens with my two 770's in DX12). It's running fine now. They just came out with an MGPU patch which I believe makes it the first DX12 title to now properly support MGPU, or so they say. Does it? No clue and could care even less. :)

For lower FPS on the FTW 1080, look at this. For some reason GFE maxed out all graphics in ROTR, including hair works. They call it something a little different in game but it's hair works. FPS are going from about 65 to just over 100 depending on the scene. This shot, 71 FPS. Notice the FTW is working, at 99% usage. Also, I have not seen any game at 1080P hit even half of the 8 GB memory.

I've put this card through its (1080P) paces in many games. The most important thing to me is so far not a single stutter anywhere. "How it's meant to be played" and I'm not use to that after a couple of years of Kepler in SLI.

Also playing Rise of the Tomb Raider. On G-sync Predator X34 3440 x1440 @ 95Hz and loving it.

    ETA- Using a single GTX980Ti

GTA 5 and Skyrim mod might hit 5GB memory, and you should try 1440P instead of 1080P because this card is already overkill on 1080P.

Well I just tried COD Advanced Warfare. It's using 7.6 GB of Vram at times. Holy PC unoptimized console port, Sexty Noodle!

At max settings on 1080P? If that is true, than that must be bs. Battlefield 1 > upcoming COD game.
