I've downloaded a fair number of games now, to a flash drive, including Daggerfall (i played Elder Scrolls Arena years ago, and this is the follow up, before Morrowind, and it is free)
I've installed Heart of Winter, as it was on my old laptop, and Ultima Underworld on my desktop, out of curiosity as I played it twice, its massively out of date but works perfectly.
List of PC games (A) - Wikipedia anybody looking for old games, and I'm looking for an old shootemu/RPG game where you are underground, jumping on carriages etc and can't think of the title, see here

I have yet to find an old game I can not play on Windows 10 (surely not saying there are none though). Some require a wrapper like dgVoodoo2 or similar, and/or widescreen fixes, etc. etc. but I've always managed to get them running fairly easily. I guess it depends on just HOW old we're talking. I've managed to run the old Tomb Raider games (there's nice remasters now though) and they are more DOS than Windows even.
Sometimes they run better/easier via WINE on Linux than Windows even, and I always run a dual Debian/Windows setup anyway.
🤣👍shame they dont do command and conquer, or Dune
