Now I just installed the original UNREAL (1998)

Then spent an hour getting the joystick to work, and setting the controls.
I also used a cheat code to get the Flak Cannon... the best weapon ever made. It shoots raw chunks of metal. LOL

I installed this from the CD.

I've downloaded a fair number of games now, to a flash drive, including Daggerfall (i played Elder Scrolls Arena years ago, and this is the follow up, before Morrowind, and it is free)

I've installed Heart of Winter, as it was on my old laptop, and Ultima Underworld on my desktop, out of curiosity as I played it twice, its massively out of date but works perfectly.

I have yet to find an old game I can not play on Windows 10 (surely not saying there are none though). Some require a wrapper like dgVoodoo2 or similar, and/or widescreen fixes, etc. etc. but I've always managed to get them running fairly easily. I guess it depends on just HOW old we're talking. I've managed to run the old Tomb Raider games (there's nice remasters now though) and they are more DOS than Windows even.

Sometimes they run better/easier via WINE on Linux than Windows even, and I always run a dual Debian/Windows setup anyway.

Do all these games, ie the numerous I've downloaded from GOG, also work on windows 11 ?

The biggest game this century this side of pacman, well actually its Minecraft being the biggest game to date but i would say Doom is the most iconic past Pacman.

Surprisingly there will be many ppl that have never heard of it.
    I love Pacman.
