Star Stable launcher

Hello

I hope i have come too the right place too solve my problem.

My daughter are playing Star Stable Online on her laptop, it has worked flawless for a long time and now suddenly the launcher dosent start anymore. Its been like this for about 2 weeks.

I have searched all over the internet too find a solution, the Star Stable support only talks about the obvious.

Reinstall the game, delete all folders. Have done soo, 10-100 times
Update Windows - nothing more too update
Update graphics drivers - newest is installed
freesh install of windows, did this twice

What happends is that when i press the gaming icon on the desktop it looks like the pc i thinking then nothing happends.

The laptop has the requirements for the game:

2,5Ghz Cpu
8GB Ram
Geforce GTX 1050

Windows 10 Home, version 22H2 , 19045.3636



I have tested Scannow, checkhealth, scanhealth & restorehealth , no errors.

I dont know what too do.

Anyone that has any ideas??

I have uninstalled the update, took some time.
Didnt change anything with the launcher, still dont work.

windows update is broken tho, cant reach it.

i will try and reinstall windows and dont update too check if updates is the problem.

I am still trying too install Windows 10, it seems like the Windows recovery is broken somehow.

The installation is stuck in a loop, when Windows say it gonna get updates and restart it goes back and doo it all over again and again.

Not sure What is happening.
I have checked the SSD disc with chkdsk and it didnt show any errors.

I Will try too make a bootable usb stick with a fresh download of Windows 10 and see if that works.

I am happy too inform that i found the problem :)

I swapped the hardrive too a new SSD and downloaded windows on a USB stick and installed from there.
That made windows install and everything is smooth.

First try with starstable made same error.

But after i found a option for the game:



That option was on the wrong graphics card, set as standard.

Now its on the Nvidia card on the laptop , and it works :)
