Anyone here playing GTA V on a GTX 970M?

    Hey everyone,

I bought a new laptop last week (Clevo P650SE) with the GTX 970M and i'm trying to find the best graphics settings to use with GTA V. At the moment the edges of objects are looking a bit jaggy, but if i turn up the anti-aliasing slightly then the lag becomes noticeable. The optimal settings provided by NVIDIA Experience are alright but they don't include any anti-aliasing except from the basic FXAA. And so i'm just wondering which settings my fellow 970M owners are using with this game, hopefully we could start a discussion about what seems to work best for us?

    Cheers!

I'm not using that particular card, but I'd recommend turning off all the in-game AA, aside from FXAA, and enabling MFAA in Nvidia Control Panel for GTA V. MFAA is supposed to give better AA at less of a performance hit than MSAA.

Apologies for the delayed response! Your suggestion certainly seems to have improved things a bit, to the point where the jagged edges don't bother me so much now. Before i could see the rough edges on a car straight in front of me, but after applying MFAA these are no longer visible. Also, there doesn't appear to be much performance difference either, so that's excellent.
