    Extremely low FPS after re-installing Windows 8.1


    Before I re-installed Windows 8.1 New Vegas ran quite smoothly, but now after re-installing Windows 8.1 I get around 15 FPS.

    Specs:
    Intel Core i7-5500U @ 2.40GHz
    8GB RAM
    Nvidia GeForce 840M and Intel HD Graphics 5500

    Hi, welcome to tenforums.

    You will note this forum supports Windows 10. Any advice you get may come from a Windows 10 viewpoint.

    Is there any reason you've chosen not to upgrade to Win 10?

    As for your game- ensure you have any mods/updates available.
