To add, the only reason I'd have now in building a new computer is if I'd want to keep one of the cases now in use with Win10 but the 'innards' won't support Win11.

Better off buying the Pre-builts i showed you.
The cost to build is too high right now it makes more sense to go that route just for a GPU especially a decent one is going to be $1200 or more.

Haha I would agree with solar. 10 years is quite long ago and you'll also have to spend time (re)learning the current hardware tech.

You could use an online PC builder website.
User Benchmark has a tool you can use, but there are others.

    in my younger age.

At the first computer club I was attending, they told me to put as much on the monitor than the whole computer...

And the computer had a Trident Super VGA card with 1 mo ram in it.

    Still true today...

So if you can't get the Monitor... Leave the GPU...

I have a 4 or 5 year old CyberPowerPC and when I checked I will NOT be able to install Windows 11 on it (something to do with no Secure Boot on my mother board and the AMD processor is not supported). What I'm thinking is that it MIGHT be time next year to get another gaming computer. Or should I just build one (I have done that before, a LONG time ago)? Any input would be helpful.

Trust me unless you were early like me and got some from EVGA cards your dreams of a decent price is pretty much a ongoing Nightmare.
