Randomly logged out while playing a game

I was just playing a game earlier(HoI4 if it's relevant), and suddenly my screen flickered for a second and I was on the login screen? I got a little bit freaked out and hesitated to enter my password, but I got back in and immediately ran a virus scan with Malwarebytes and a full Windows Defender scan, both turning out clean with the most recent definitions.

I've tried to check the event log, but I can't find out why I was logged out.. I just see events in the security section about me logging in and a bunch of entries about "Microsoft Windows security auditing." (ID 5379) since it occurred and it keeps adding new ones every 3-5 minutes(maybe because I open the security category in the event viewer?). I don't have any logoff events in the system logs either from when it happened, and I don't see any sleep events in "Kernel-Power"(it's actually empty) or any that isn't from today in "Power-Troubleshooting".

I have a theory that it tried going into sleep, hence the brief flickering that seemed to turn the monitor off. I have it set to 45 minutes and my gaming session was a bit above that, but I have never experienced anything like this before playing this game for even longer or any other game for that matter. And there were no events(that I saw) that suggested that it happened.

Any idea what could've happened and how I can find out exactly what caused it? I guess I could add that the game was calculating a lot of stuff at the moment and the flicker+logout happened right as it finished, not sure if that's to any help.
    Windows version: 21H1 (OS-version 19043.1237)

I was closing some in-game dialogs while it happened with the enter key. I'm sure I wasn't anywhere near the Windows key, especially not L.
