    High precision event timer

I read that disabling high precision event timer in bios and windows can improve games fps, input/output, micro stuttering
and dpc latency (nvidia cards) . I disabled mine in windows, only slight improvements. I further disabled it in bios,
still monitoring the result. Any opinions on this ?

    Very late response.

Personally the only reason to enable this is to keep the correct time in the bios and synced with connected servers so things are accurate.
Maybe disabling could give you better security in some ways, but negative in other areas if needed.

    I say disable
