I didn't buy it yet. I am still looking to make sure there isn't anything better.
Oh Ok I that the one in the Picture is the one you got
Dont mind me I just got up from a small nap, and did not have any coffee yet :)
Yeah, it's a 55" LG 4K UHD that I've had for years. It has smooth motion features to make it appear as if it has 120hz but text and other things have a blurry shadow trail. I'm looking to get a whole new matching trio of TV's. It has a Radeon RX 6900XT and I game at 3840x2160. Most games maxed out hold at 60fps but others like Crossout can get up to 300fps. Mainly though, I just think it's time for a better TV.
I always thought For gaming on PC, Its just better to get a Monitor, and leave TV for PS4 and Xbox

Hello
I bought a tv and found this site to choose it. A good site with lots of technical features in the tests. There is a "pc monitor" note in the tv test and if you over-stolen the question mark next to the notes there are plenty of underscores.
The samsung tu8000 does not appear to be 4K 120hz compatible.
If you take a tv for video games with the 120hz VRR, take a tv from 2021, those from 2020 have problems with the 120hz. And of course check that it is compatible with freesync or G-gync or both.

My rig is used for everything. Movies, games, browsing. I can't stand a small PC monitor though I know it's better. I can't afford a big one so I thought, the way TV's keep turning more and more into a PC monitor, why not just use those?
