Activation

In the past, I bought a game, installed it & played; no activation needed.
Now some games have an 'activation' requirement, which leaves some people out of playing some great games!

I'm planning to buy DOOM (2016) & would like to know:
1. How do I activate the game WITHOUT having an internet connection?
2. Can I still install the game & play it on both my computers?

I'm NOT going to play online, just single play on my own computers.
Is it even possible to activate DOOM (2016) w/o an internet connection?
I've sent an email to Bethesda, but have not received any replies.

You know i went through this with AMD trying to claim games it just never worked.

I even contacted them to be useless so in the end i lost out on a couple games because they have a crappy way of porting them to your PC.

Even Nvidia is starting to pull that BS it's like why do we have to work so hard for a free item included with the purchase.

Hi, long time gamer here.

1- Unfortunately most games today require an internet connection if for nothing else but to activate and phone home every now and then for patching and piracy checks. If you've bought one of these game, you'll need some type of internet connection to at least activate.

2- typically games are designed to be played on one PC, however if you're got a game manager such as Steam you could load the app on multiple PC's and simply log into Steam on a particular PC and choose a game from there to play. Of course this feature requires an internet connection.

Doom 2016 requires an internet connection - Doom 2016 system requirements.

You may not need to be connected to the internet all the time, but yeah, you need an internet connection for patches and security checks. The game will complain if there's an issue.
