Strange problem regarding a program not opening/loading.

    Lol yeah I feel the same its getting down to this level now I don't think I'm ever going to be able to resolve it.

    As mentioned before I'm going to install it on the os it works on make the adjustments I want in settings then copy every related folder to the game over onto the os that doesn't play ball. hopefully I can then run game in correct setting without needing to enter settings.


    Change of plan: going to copy the working windows os onto the SSD so I have two identical boots... this way I can eliminate it being a SSD related issue or not.

    If I didn't mention this before:
    Backup and Restore with Macrium Reflect

    Wonder if you can make a backup of working drive and restore it to other drive . Good to have backups anyway once you learn their power - restore a crap updated drive from a good image within 30 minutes.

    both wrote that at the same time! yes I was thinking exact same... clone the os that works onto the ssd that way can eliminate it being a ssd issue or not will report back :)
