    uninstall not happening

I have been playing the new MSFS2020 recently and a large part of the experience for me is an associated program called Flight Simulator Economy. In order for FSE to work I must use a small program called Simconnect. This handles communication between the FSE server and FS2020. Simconnect was working well until several days ago when it updated as part of the boot routine. Ever since then it hasn't worked at all. I have tried various things and also re-entered my password several times. Nothing helps. So I finally decided to uninstall Simconnect and then re-install. When I attempt to uninstall Simconnect I get an error which appears to say it can't be uninstalled because it isn't there. It was there and working fine until the update so it must still be there. I appreciate any help I can get. Here is the error code:

Try uninstalling with Revo uninstaller free. If the program’s uninstaller fails then you can still scan for leftovers which will in effect uninstall the program.

Thanks I'll give it a try.

When I boot Revo Uninstaller Simconnect does not appear in the list. I switch to Hunter mode and when I bring the targeting icon over Simconnect I see: Unresolved! Try to point to another window, icon or a taskbar item. I aim the targeting icon at every icon/link on the desktop and they ALL give the same response. This uninstaller is useless.

You might try re-installing Simconnect. Some installers will offer to "repair" as well.
If installing Simconnect doesn't help, it might at least give you the option to uninstall.

If I try to reinstall over the existing client it just boots it.

If pointing Hunter icon over any program’s .exe file & you receive the same error then either Revo isn’t installed fully or there’s more going on with your pc than is first thought.
Are you running the free or a trial version of Pro? I’m not sure if hunter mode is available in the free version.

If Pro then try the Forced Uninstall option.
