Windows 10 Enterprise 2004 (264) problem with DWM e games screen whole

    Hello friendsI
    • would like to ask the mentors of this forum and anyone who can answer a question that has been found on the internet for some time, however, I still haven't found anything satisfactory as an answer.
    • Scenario:
    • Intel i7 4770K, 8GB, nVidia GTX650 2GB, HT 1TB - never OverClock on CPU or GPU
    • MSWindows 10 Enterprise 2004 (build 19041.264) - Portuguese-BR
    • Desktop Windows Manager (DWM) and Games in Full Screen, in particular AC Odyssey v1.5.3 - but not only this!
    • MSWindows 10 - 2004, like other previous editions, uses DWM.exe to, in theory, improve the user interface in relation to what is presented on the screen, however, it is not new that this service has incompatibility and problems with some software and video drivers, so, after I upgraded MSWindows 10 (1909) to (2004) edition,
    • I have been having problems with this services and games, the one that I use most is Assassin's Creed Odyssey v1. 5.3.
    • When using the updated 1909 build, I never had this problem that I will report here,
    • I always used the following way of playing:
    • 1) I Winrar for a shortcut (Profiles) to create backups of the game saves, so, even using the game menu, I can still restore the point before any problem or even a sudden death in the game: - )
    • 2) So, I open the game (anyone), and, before a game mission, I make a backup with Winrar. In other words, I use "ALT + TAB" to go back to the Desktop and click on the Winrar "Profile" shortcut to create a backup of the "SAVES" files of the game I'm playing (any one) - I do several shortcuts, one for each game!
    • 3) Having made the backup, I use "ALT + TAB" to return to the game screen.
    • 4) Ok, everyone should know how to switch between one application and another in MSWindows, it's not new. However, it is just to make it clear that I have always done this, and it works without problems.!
    • 5) Now comes the problem!
    • 6) Before, I did this task several times, during the game period (anyone) ... however, now with the 2004 build of MSWindows after a few times (+/- 6x or more), I realize that at a certain time the game screen freezes for a few seconds (+/- 5 seconds) and works again ....
    • 7) Now comes the problem in action: If I do an "ALT + TAB" to back up and return to the game, just wait a few minutes and the game disappears from the screen and the Task Manager ... that is, the application was closed without any error message.
    • NOTE: This only started to happen after installing MSWindows 10 (2004) ... the installation was done from scratch, no "updates" ...
    • The applications installed in MSWindows 10 (2004) are the same as in build 1909 ... all the same, nothing more!
    • The nVidia driver is updated (v446.14 - the last) as in MSWindows 1909 ...
    • I searched Google and some unofficial support sites for MSWindows, nVidia, etc ... always pointed to DWM which was previously a MSWindows tool and then became a service.
    • Finally, the problem is not specific to the game Assassin's Creed Odyssey, ok!
    • Apart from this small problem, MSWindows seems to work ok, in my day-to-day.
    • Can anyone point out some way for some possible help.
    • hug
