Usually when I open a game such as solitaire the xbox game bar tips slides in from the right. Since latest game bar app update (yest) it doesn't do this. I can open game bar fine but tips won't come up anymore. I toggled the setting to turn tips off and on, restarted etc but still no joy. Anyone else?
Try using it with a new game or program.

Hi, thanks for the response. Yeah I just tried to open Sudoku (which til now had never opened before) and whilst the game launched the tips did not slide across from the right. It's not a big deal as it is a purely cosmetic thing but it doesn't help my OCD! I just switched user accounts to the wife and kids and the functionality works on theirs, so just on my user acc. Obviously not going to reset or recreate my own user acc for something trivial like this as that would create carnage. Just annoying as before the latest Xbox Game Bar 'update' this wasn't an issue
I know what you mean, I also have this OCD.I think this is normal though. The gamebar overlay tip screen doesn't always tell you that it's there when it must repeat overlays per account. This happens to me aswell in many games. I think it will only remind you on occasion - and when it's out of tips to give you through the rotation pool - to avoid it being an annoyance. Or at least that what I tell myself.
