    Hi,
Interesting isn't win-10 in general pretty obnoxious at default settings
I once just hit the win-key and got a popup asking if I found what I was looking for

    How to make advertising pay

Most of my professional life has been in advertising and marketing. Never in all those years did I have a client approach me and say, "You know, our ads are really obnoxious. I bet we could get customers to pay us so they wouldn't have to watch these loud, annoying commercials." I would be curious to know what kind of response Microsoft has gotten from this approach. Their Solitaire game is one of the best. Why would they cheapen it by associating it with promotions for some clunky games? So many people are hunkered down during Covid pandemic and are looking for an occasional escape. But an overly boorish executive at Microsoft decided to remind thousands of their Windows 10 users that even if they are out of work, they should share their diminishing funds with Microsoft. Where is Bill Gates when they need him?

Too often these ads cannot be closed at the end of viewing.
There’s ways to block the ads but these cannot be discussed.
