Yes, but not maxed out. That CPU is really going to hold you back, especially with that GPU.

Far Cry 5 PC requirements (minimum)

    • OS: Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1, Windows 10 (64-bit versions only)
    • Processor: Intel Core i5-2400 @ 3.1 GHz or AMD FX-6300 @ 3.5 GHz or equivalent.
    • Video card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 670 or AMD R9 270 (2GB VRAM with Shader Model 5.0 or better)
    • RAM: 8GB.

Only way to see is to try it.
But you meet the minimum requirements So I'd I would
    give it a try.

If your i5 2500 is actually an i5 2500K, it would be worth your while to overclock it if you play recent AAA games. It's an 8-year-old chip, which is often going to hold back your great graphics card. I'm pretty sure I've read that i5 is a good chip to overclock—not something I try myself.

I played Far Cry 5 with a friend on a system that I gave to him when I built my current setup

He had no issues with game and ran pretty smooth (never complained or noticed any slow down when I kept asking him because I shared the same concerns you have with running so close to min spec)

It had i5-2500 (non-K version) with 16 GB of RAM and Nvidia GTX 970 (the infamous card that had 3.5 GB of fast memory GDDR5 memory )

You should be fine unless you plan to stream it or something.
