It could be a lot of things. Do you have third party AV software? If so you could put an exclusion in it for the game. You could also try shutdown the game when it hangs and restart the computer, see if that helps. On another game, I had to reinstall it on another drive when it did the same thing. You can also try running it as Administrator. Rt click the game icon, select properties and on the shortcut tab select the Advanced and check the box for run as Admin.

There was another update today.

I got it . 30 GB for me. Installed it last night.

Probably Firewall. Reset your firewall, launch the game and select both Private and Public

According to your System Specs you have Avast, which has had problems with Windows.

What two files are you saying you have now?
