    It could be a lot of things. Do you have third party AV software? If so you could put an exclusion in it for the game. You could also try shutdown the game when it hangs and restart the computer, see if that helps. On another game, I had to reinstall it on another drive when it did the same thing. You can also try running it as Administrator. Rt click the game icon, select properties and on the shortcut tab select the Advanced and check the box for run as Admin.

    Probably Firewall. Reset your firewall, launch the game and select both Private and Public

    I changed the setting on my windows fire wall and restarted my computer there were 2 files is that normal? Opening game now but having same issue. WZ Checking for update.

    I honestly would not know if I have a 3rd party AV Software. I am a beginner with computers. How do I find out?

    According to your System Specs you have Avast, which has had problems with Windows.

    On the allow apps to communicate through Window Defenders Firewall I have to Call of Duty Modern War Fare both have the private and public sections checked.

    I am doing that now. What should I replace it with?

    Removed Avast and no luck still. Still checking for updates after it opens the games.
