SSD read speed for games?

I just brought a Samsung 869 EVO to run some games off. The particularly game I playing on reaches a peak of around 250 MB/s read speed while the drive is capable of 570 MB/s. Wouldn't my game be loading faster if it was utilizing the maximum read speed of the SSD?

Speed in actual use and benchmark always differ to some degree, many causes for that including AVs for instance.

869 Evo? I have never heard of that one before. Is it SATA 3? What memory does it use (TLC, QLC?), Is it connected with a Serial ATA 6gb/s cable/interface? At any rate, games usually don't max out the sequental reads when loading because they rely more on the random 4KB (QD=1) IOPS reads. It can also be bottlenecked by the CPU and RAM aswell when loading, not necessarily from your system, but the game itself. If you can run CrystalDisk and everything checks according to specifications for that SSD then everything is OK.
