    Games slow on 1809

The last build that games work properly on.

Two Windows on same machine, just separate SSDs. One is this standard 1809 clean installation and other one last Skippy but now I'm talking only about this normal 1809.
So, as I said, same machine, same drivers, same settings and if updated to any newer build, "heavier games like CoD MW3 and Black Ops run like piece of you know what !!! FPs is down to 20-40 (instead of 100+on this build),
On this build 100+ FPS even if CPU is underclocked to 2,5GHz, RAM to 2133MHz and GPU way downclocked.
If any newer updates are installed those games run at 20 - 40 FPS and is so jerky it's unplayable. I mean I move mouse a bit and it takes a second for anything to move and than moves by half the screen. Even full OC, CPU to 4.3GHz, RAM 3600MHz as well as heavy GPU OC doesn't help much.
    Edit:
Benchmarks are almost same on any build.

17763.107 (1809) good / 17763.108+ (1809) bad? You can try using DDU and reinstall the graphics driver. Maybe clear the CMOS aswell. Does your cpu throttle? I mean slow mouse may be related to cpu cycles or latency. I don't know too much about this issue here so I honestly don't know Mike, sorry. Doing a bit of research doesn't lead me to much either. I do get articles up related to Broadwell cpu overclocks being nullified with a Windows Update late last year, but not much else.

17763.107 is last good one, all after that slow down and no, drivers and HW do not matter because it works on this build and it's all same. Same machine, same drivers.

    Maybe it's related:

[ADDED 3/6] After installing KB4482887, users may notice graphics and mouse performance degradation with desktop gaming when playing certain games (eg: Destiny 2).

Microsoft is working on a resolution and will provide an update in an upcoming release.

As a short-term resolution, users can uninstall KB4482887 to regain performance.

I've put it on slow burner until spring update. Still have Sleep Ahead on other disk to use but those games are slow there too. I don't know why is this happening, maybe Retpoline fix is to blame.

Probably for the best. Windows can be annoying sometimes, and breaking games is not its first. Funny if Retpoline is the blame here since it's suppose to increase performance not reduce it. I will let you know if I see more users around Reddit, Nvidia etc that are reporting similar issues.

Tnx. I'm really puzzled, for now I'm saying with this version.

Maybe i'm right about Retpoline, just found this: Recent Windows 10 patch brings good, bad performance news for PC gamers | PCWorld
    Gaming performance may be slowed

On the other hand, KB4482887 may also apparently degrade your GPU and mouse performance. Microsoft hasn’t said by how much, and also what games will be affected. Microsoft names a single game as an example: Destiny 2, which has suffered from content issues unrelated to performance.

Microsoft said it would resolve the problem in a future update. In the meantime, Microsoft suggests that concerned parties should uninstall the update.

Well, I just updated fro 17763.107 to 168 and didn't loose any performance. Going to install next one now.
    PS. 194 and still good.
    195 and still good.
253, still OK. going for next one as soon as i do backup.
Last check, 348 is the culprit, going back to 253 and wait for next update and see what will happen.

And the .348 update does have both Retpoline and a bug with games causing performance issue. I think we can safely say it's Windows Update - .348 update in particular - that is causing your problem. It's the only recent issue that seems related to yours when I asked or searched around. Interestingly I don't have this update. I think it's not part of a critical rollout-phase by Microsoft. If it were it would probably be much more widespread. I will definitely avoid this one.
