CPU usage alone doesn't have to mean anything, even steam is pretty poorly optimized. When i launch steam, i can tell difference in input lag on my mouse cursor! But 10% is a lot, what is it doing lol?

This looks pretty shady!!! Increased CPU usage in idle, while it is connecting to the internet and has 14 times of steam traffic.

Just looks like ANOTHER AMD problem.

That video is on Intel. Same happens on my Intel lol. Mozilla even warned me, that it may cotain malware when i wanted to download it. It was awhile tho. Now it doesn't. So many shady things going around this launcher...

Also considering 14 times of steam traffic lol... And all free games, which aren't even that bad, even EA didn't give so much AAA games and expensive games...

But I don't know. They just denied everything and didn't provide any explanation. And their CEO on twitter, when he denied allegations. He conveniently didn't talk, when he said it is still his company, about 40% of tencent shares. They can put their people on the board.

You do realise that post is nearly a year old. You can play those games without using the launcher (95% of the time), just go into install folder and create a shortcut from the actual game exe.

Yes first post is old, but second with a CPU usage is new...

What doesn't client have to be running all time to play the games? Also if it is collecting data when you launch that, it is already too late. For game installation etc...
