    Screen flickers when games played on full screen


    Screen flickers when I play games on fullscreen, It's fine on windowed mode. I am having this problem since a year now, I have been using V-Sync feature on games as a bypass to this problem but there are new games which don't offer this feature, neither does the Intel Graphics Contorl Panel. Idk what changed last time, driver update, windows update, direct x update.. I've been looking for a fix but nothings working.
    Specs: Laptop, Haier 7G-5H, Windows 10, i3 4010U, 6 GB RAM, Intel HD 4400.

    Have you tried adjusting your screen refresh rate. Settings > System >Display > Advanced display settings > Display adapter properties > Monitor > Screen refresh rates. It's a long shot, but it may improve the screen flicker with a higher refresh frequency.

    Stitch194 It shows one available option 60 Hz which is selected. My windows runs fine without flicker or any issues. It's just games.

For a while now games are suddenly triggering a pop up when I put them in fullscreen that says something along the lines of "Not the best resolution recommended, should be played at 1920x1080." Then it proceeds to shrink the game or just keeps...
On my laptop keyboard fn+f11 just lowers the volume. Games are opening as maximized screen but not full screen.
My son has a PC & whenever he plays full screen games. A noise comes from his tower like a high pitched static noise & flickering lines appear on the screen. As soon as he minimises the game, it stops. He has a Q9300 CPU, 4gig DDR3 & a HD6770...
Help me! Opening my games is not a problem at all, It's not minimizing at first, but when I plug in my headphones this pops up: 86248 "And then I'll check Headphone and then click OK" 86247
