Gaming FPS negatively affected after Wiin10 update KB4103727

I recently had my Win10 gaming PC download some updates in the background and everything was fine. Came home today and the two updates got install and BOOM my FPS is all over the place when in reality it should stay steady at 299max or Counter-strike Source.

I uninstalled the Adobe update, but when I try to uninstall the KB4103727 updated, it tells me to restart. When I restart it just reinstalls the update again, because it is still on my PC when I get logged on.

What can I do?!?! This PC is 2 months old. I'm so sick on Win10 doing this. A Win10 update did this to my Dell XPS 13 back in December and I got fed up and bought this PC to bypass the issue!!!!!!!

It's possible, but I haven't seen much reports of this though. Can you verify the integrity of the game on Steam and see if this helps?

I've been having trouble as well. I make music with Ableton Live & was working on something one night with no trouble at all, but when I came to the EXACT same project the next day Abletons own CPU monitor went crazy and made playback of the project impossible. I tried the same test on FL Studio and had the same issues, so it isn't just the program.

The only thing I can see is the night before my issues these updates were installed:

    • KB4103727
    • KB4131372
    • Security Update for Adobe Flash Player

Uninstalled the KB4103727 update & it seems to be performing better so far, will post an update in a couple days or so.

I should note that I did a system reset BEFORE uninstalling the update and the problem was still there, so it wasn't any sort of program issue as the reset wiped all my programs.

Also had a scare before thinking my problem returned, but turned out my laptops power adapter wasn't plugged in properly. If I plug my adapter in and the charging light DOESN'T come on, my whole system lags for whatever reason.

    Still good thus far.
