From Steam support: The Instruction at 0x referenced memory at 0x The memory could not be read - Crashes and Errors - Knowledge Base - Steam Support

The most common cause of this error is a background application interfering with the game. Please follow this guide to shut down all background applications.
Close all background programs running except for Steam and any system essentials. Update your graphics and audio drivers, verify the GCF, run a system scan using sfc /scannow command line, disable system modifiers (overclock and hardware monitor applications, overlays etc).

It also couldn't hurt to run an overnight test with Memtest.

Do you have Fast Startup enabled in Power Config? You have an SSD so you don't really need it. I have solved many memory and other corruption issues by turning it off.

    Hi Gents
Sorry I haven't got back to you earlier, it would seem that I am in a Catch 22 situation. If I close down the Logitech Gaming software the problem goes away... but..I loose some of the function keys on my Logitech G910 and the sound is not as good through my Logitech 933 Headphones.. Does any one have any suggestions that can solve this problem other than dumb Dodgitech and use another brand of Gaming equipment?

    Thanks guys

    xl..out

PS.. I have tried to run sfc /scannow (in ele com prompt) it gets to 21% and will not go any further, I have run DISM .......Scanhealth- Checkhealth- even source windows ISO etc and its says everything is fine, but still can not run sfc /scannow past that elusive 21%.. Thinking of doing a Reset next..

This pretty much confirms that the Logitech Gaming Software is messing up the game(s) for you. A quick search doesn't tell me much since normally the program shouldn't interfere with CS:GO. You could try to re-install it and try different USB ports for your peripherals? I recommend you contact Steam support as they may provide better help for you.
