Does anyone know with Resizable Bar does this just need to be enabled globally and will work automatically with games that support it or should I be looking for a Resizable Bar option in the game?

I'm 99% sure that once it's enabled, it will automatically work with games that support it and that game support is added via profiles in the GPU driver. You shouldn't need to enable it with an in-game option.

Just started playing Train Sim World 2 (Steam version) with RailDriver. Great fun and it’s much more difficult than I thought it would be. Maintaining a consistent target speed with a long string of freight cars over changing grades is not easy.

It says ReBar is enabled in NV panel/System Information but I don't see any option to enable it on a per game profile. I'm playing a few games that support it. Maybe it just works once it's enabled in the BIOS?

Yep, that's the way it's supposed to work. Any game that supports it should take advantage of it once it's turned on in the BIOS as long as you're using a driver that also supports it, which the most recent ones do.

I had it enabled but I didn't gain anything, perhaps because my card (AMD Radeon VII) didn't support it? Not sure, not really clear on what cards can take advantage of it.

As to in game options, I never got any. I believe Resizable Bar is global.

Only nvidia rtx3000 series cards support resizable bar, if your motherboard/cpu also support it.

Not much at the moment as my PSU is going flaky! (instant shutdown/reboot on high graphical games), have to wait till next week for my new one.

Anyone familiar with Control... I'm playing with wireless controller and the game keeps flicking over to mouse + keyboard. It's making my controls feel glitchy. I can't find any sort of hybrid controller setting I can disable...
