Thanks Richard, I just updated my GPU drivers as till the issue persists. The game has been acting weird with sudden crashes to desktop, but now that I'm in New York for the hunt for Saturn, the game constantly crashes by either developing a really bad stutter before freezing up or suddenly crashing to desktop without warning.

At this point the game is unplayable

This is kind of my second go with the game as played it a lot when first released and never had to play in windowed mode. Whatever is happening is recent.

I'm wondering if it might be the KB5001391 CU Windows 10 v2004 build 19041.964 update since there is a known issue with game performance

A small subset of users have reported lower than expected performance in games after installing this update. Most users affected by this issue are running games full screen or borderless windowed modes and using two or more monitors.

Division 2 Crashing: For what its worth I sent this to Ubisoft.

"The game still randomly crashes to desktop and freezes without errors or warning usually within the first few minutes of gameplay. The crashes require reloading and the freezes require a task manager force shutdown of the game. It also has occasional stutter throughout the game. This has been an issue for several months now and friends playing (with newer and better PC's) have also noted the same issues. Nothing in your FAQ's or anywhere else online has provided a resolution."

PS: That link I posted before was Division 1 here is the one for Division 2.

Thanks Richard, glad to know it's not just me. Whatever's happening is recent for me. If you remember I played this game a lot and posted about it. Never had near the crashes I do now.

The game is pretty much unplayable right now

Real sorry to hear that, I've been playing ever since back then.
Recently I bumped up the page file on my game drive to see if that helps.

FYI, here's what Ubisoft said, Division2crash.pdf

Short version: Uninstall all the C+ stuff and download fresh copies. Which may foul up some of my older games

At this point in time I'm going to put it away. I only started playing it again out of boredom. Currently awaiting the Mass Effect Legendary Edition release due on the 14th of this month. In the meantime I've got other games to play or finish off till then. Fallout 4 being one since I never finished it.

Bumping up the page file sounds like a good idea since I think the issue is a memory leak. That said, I currently have Windows set to manage my page file, something I've done since my Windows 7 days, so....

Anyway, my system has 32gig of memory as seen in my system specs so I'm unlikely to mess with the page file.

    Thanks.
