16 GB ram is a bit on the low side

I found that with Simulators and games there doesn't seem to be such an animal as too much ram

After upgrading to 32 gb RAM there was a great boost in speed & stability in MSFS

If you can stay out of paging, even with an SSD, things go better

Thanks. My desktop PC is 8+ years old. It may not be worth upgrading that since I'll probably build a new PC later this year when the current silly CPU prices reduce. That build will have 32 GB.
