It has crashed to desktop twice (GOG).
Yeah, I'm seeing people complain about issues with keyboard and mouse play. If this is one of those "a controller is best" games, I'm going to pass it by. I'm strictly PC, keyboard & mouse.
If I do get the game, I'll probably get the Steam version being all my Witcher games are Steam based.
Thanks.
No major issues on my gaming PC (signature) with cyberpunk 6 hours in, (amazing game ), Steam version. It installed something called REDlauncher, I see some are having issues with it. The game also defaults ray tracing to ON which I turned off because I want high frame rates. Everything else is maxed out. Over 800.000 people are playing it on Steam, crazy.
I have not enabled the highest level of Ray-tracing (Psycho or something). Everything else on max, so far so good.
@Faith, thanks.
You guys (and gals) are making me rethink waiting for the first patch and just going for it. Honestly I've not been this excited about a game release since Outer Worlds. And I got that the minute it released. No regrets there.
I might take the plunge and get it now. Still thinking....
The game version says v1.03, so it has gotten 3 updates already if they started on 1.00, probably I think? But the game is selling like hotcakes so it won't go down in price anytime soon, so you won't exactly get it cheaper unless you wait a few months or so, at least not on the major platforms anyway. You're also protected by decent refund policies on GOG and Steam, so if it doesn't work you'll most likely get your money back if you ask (I have in the past on other games). The only issues I've seen are minor clipping issues with textures and some floating objects. The game definitely have some major issues if we look at the reports, but I have not seen them, nor my friends who also are playing it.
