Pretty much maxed on Breakpoint, so thought I would give Wildlands a try. I got it a long time ago but never played much other than driving around. Time to gear it up, I have no good gear yet and need to learn the mechanics. This is Operation Oracle, the mission that introduces walker for Breakpoint

Anyway I'm about to start hanging out in the Occupied DZ to see how I stack up

Getting a ton of teal gear in the Occupied DZ after clearing landmarks. No exotics yet. Anyone else?

Currently doing hard and challenging landmarks.

Is it targeted loot gear set in DZ? Look for the green/teal icon in targeted loot mode on the map. There will be guaranteed teal drops in those missions/areas.

I was always told (via YouTube and online posts) that the best place to get exotic gear drops was the occupied zone. I've yet to find any exotics there... and I've killed lots of enemies and rogue agents.

Anyway, today wasn't my first foray there.

Targeted loot is another way but I think the drop rate % is still low. I did Capitol Building a few days ago which was targeted loot holsters and a random purple heavy gunner dropped an Imperial Dynasty holster in a hallway. I had a rogue agent drop an exotic at a control point.

Are you donating resources for the weekly project? That's a guaranteed exotic cache each week. Another way is through the league and event rewards. I'm currently 3 stages away from the exotic cache for the current league. Are you doing those? Currently it is time trial on four missions and 10 stages of head shots and weak point breaks...

Sorry meant targeted gear sets in the occupied DZ and the Zoo. I found everything except System Corruption, seems to be a lot more heavy & boss drops on challenging mode.
