Most were found, but the last two were in caches. And yes, Massive did say they'd make getting exotics easier.

Anyway the whole game feels easier now than it was when first released. I'm now playing hard and in some instances challenging on solo where that wasn't so easy before the many "dumb down" patches.

And yeah, I complained the game was too hard too. I see we now got our wishes... love it or hate it.

The exotics must be pretty random luck, I've done those missions, control points, etc. repeatedly and only found one. Some of them are drops but there's more to it than just killing the boss. Any way I gonna keep looking the machine gun that doesn't run out of ammo.

As I posted awhile back... they random and have a low drop percentage. You can play an area 20 times and don't get one, someone else can play it once an get an item

Anyway I'm trying to find Merciless since I have Ruthless but it's a level 1 weapon so it's "useless". Getting Merciless is the only way to upgrade Ruthless from level 1. Rumor is it can be had from defeating the boss in Jefferson Trade Center. But again... random drop.

You Division guy's doing Polarity switch? For easy exotic caches don't forget the weekly requisition caches.

My eyes wear out on that Division Season 2 polarity switch so I been farming the teal gear also found Mantis & the exotic go-bag

What's the Mantis like. I see it's a sniper rifle. How's it differ from Nemesis?

Anyway I finally found the Merciless, but wound up converting it to the Ruthless. A move I regret as the Merciless is said to be the better of the two since it has 3 talents vs. the Ruthless' two. That said these guns are deadly against those robotic dogs or whatever since they to cut right through them.

All that said, I'm out looking for another Merciless rifle

Oh, and no, not doing the polarity switch.

Hey Drew, it's got good scope, it highlights the enemy's head which compensates for the lack of damage. Nemesis just takes too long to wind up, I still prefer the TAC-50.

You're right about the wind up time, but when it works it works. But yeah can't argue about the slow setup
