I hate total cloud save games like Division 2, I morphed to the Kenley college addon and now I am stuck there until I complete it.
I've been there and a few other places. And yeah, you have to finish the entire quest or start over again if you quit. Add the the boss missions can be really really challenging, especially when playing solo.
Anyway, Kenley college frustrated me to the point of not going back again. Only got two of the 3 missions completed. Doesn't matter though because you have to complete all three for it to count. That when you start over you have to play all three again
There is. If I remember the exit to DC is near the lake.
BTW there's also another offsite location (included in the season pass) called the Pentagon which which has a few couple of missions that's also very frustrating on solo. The main mission there called the Pentagon is very long, tedious and challenging and took like 4 tries to complete. Than after "finally" getting past that there another mission within it called Darpa Research lab where you have to locate a bioreactor - that one is proving just as challenging as Kenly college as each succeeding quest gets harder and harder as you near the completion of the mission.
With that I'll say this, and especially playing solo - use your skills (for me a drone and turret) and make sure you max them out. Also time over damage (longer lasting vs more damage) seems to be better. Also, at this point of the game you should have a specialization - use it and make sure you add a specialization mod to your skills (support weapons).
And definitely pre plan and not go in guns blazing - In playing solo planning and patience is a must!!!
My two cents.
Thank you guys for the well received wisdom!
Now that I am back in DC I will have to try the turret even though I really like watching the rolling grenade. The Divisions games got to be the hardest shooters I have played, which is cool as long as you get the time to figure it out.
Use whatever skill suits your needs, not ours. The point is maximize the skill that best fits your gameplay with the best mods available. And if you've acquired a specialization, make sure you have that specialization mod included in the skill.
Also be aware specialization skills will only apply to certain skill weapons so that factors in the modding process. Example since I'm currently using the Sharpshooter specialization I get a powerful sniper riffle, I get specialization riffle scopes for rifles, and a specialization mod for the Drone....
In this area If I not using the drone the sharpshooter skill isn't maximized. See this Division 2 wiki - Specializations
Me to; though there is warning solo play can be hard and frustrating, especially in the higher level areas.
Thanks for the great tips, just got that cool sniper rifle so it will be a blast to max it out.
That return to DC button is almost hidden on the map, but from now on I am going to level up before I try any more sites off of DC.
