I probably should be playing BFV MP. When I search on why I’m not getting better at PUBG some of the answers are that the PUBG environment is not really favorable to improving technique, especially if you are playing solo (the hardest). Very quick and accurate shooting to the head and neck are the keys along with quickly picking up good weapons and armor. In a close quarter PUBG battle you will be dead in a second against someone with superior weapons and skill. I know all about that and there is no time to practice under that scenario. Some suggestions state a better environment to practice quick shooting accuracy is the Battlefield MP games.

Talking to my nephew and analyzing his gameplay from that video he never crouches to pick up items. That wastes time he says. He just walks over it, hits the tab key to bring it all to inventory and sorts it out later. Notice how quickly the mouse is moving when he sorts out inventory items. Now I know why when I land many already have good weapons and armor and kill me while I try punching them as I have nothing. LOL.

I asked my nephew about kill #6. I figured that guy waiting inside the building at the door should have killed my nephew when he walked in. What happened to kill#6 happens to me and I don’t get it. My nephew said that guy had little chance. The nephew felt confident opening the door and walking in because he had raided kill#3’s equipment. Kill#3 had picked up an air drop and had level 3 armor which my nephew picked up after the kill. He said that is why he thought the odds were in his favor walking into that building. He said the guy who should have got him was kill#3 who had superior armor/weapons and is a good player. Nephew figures he got impatient or frustrated that the nephew wasn’t dead right away or especially after the massive grenade toss where my nephew had moved from behind the tree and down the hill.

My take is kill#3 had no clue he was dealing with a Grand Master. After the kill when he saw specialkone killed you he probably said are you kidding? I have killed that novice 50 times before easily.

Well these things were never before going through my mind while playing PUBG but at least now I have an idea of why I die so often and so quickly.

And here is how the nephew got taken out. . Grenade through the window.

No, no, no. I spend 80% of my gaming time on Project Cars 2 and Forza 7. I think the "other" specialkone spends most of his gaming time (although limited due to his work) on PUBG.

What makes PUBG shine for me are the people, the TFFF and the "other" specialkone. I find solo quite a drag and I am NOT getting any better at it.

Likely the intensity. The best online shooter gamers are there. The nephew's GF says she does not have to look at the monitor to know when he is down to the final 10. She says she just looks at him. He stops blinking at that point.

Unlike his uncle, he loves solo and spends 90% of his PUBG time playing solo. After watching him play, I get that.

Speaking of PUBG, is the TFFF up for a practice round sometime today? If yes I'll get my headphones out.
