SoulWorker, I know this game has the US version but I'm playing the JP client :)

Eve Online is the game i always come back to. I wish i had more free time to play it.

In celebration of 15 years of Eve they just released a new trailer.

Nah, UBI totally ironed out pretty much all bugs in the game. Its my favorite AC game now. I'm so lucky that I can afford to run it over 60fps and 4k with all settings to their highest.

Yeah, it runs fine now, but at launch it was a mess. I just realized that I never finished the Dead Kings DLC (I think that's what it was called). I need to go back and do that.

Unity is your favorite AC game? That's interesting because it's hard to find many people that can say this over AC1, AC2, Black Flag, Brotherhood and even Origins. Not that I'm trying be rude here or anything - you can totally like whatever you like to - but I must admit that I am kind of curious as to why. :) I played the game at launch and it was so bad that they actually stopped planned development for it to focus on fixing the game instead. Then they released Dead Kings for free to anyone as a forgiveness-token and gave season pass owners a free game instead. The expanded draw-calls for Unity was one of the main contributors for the performance issues the game had because they overloaded what the APi could handle. Did they fix it?

My issue with Unity wasn't necessarily because of the performance issues and the plethora of bugs at release (though it certainly made a bad taste in my mouth), but a lot of it was with the game itself. The side missions was bad an uninteresting (seen more of in recent Ubisoft games). The activities was cluttered to the point I had a hard time looking at the map. The story was boring and padded. Arno as a main protagonist was a drag, and the other characters was ok I guess. I found it very... mediocre and boring I think. Sure it looks nice, the aesthetics are fantastic and the assets are brilliant, but I need more than that. I feel that AC2 nailed a lot of what made the franchise great for me (though I remember it became a bit silly at the end): A good nicely written story that's not too long or too serious, good characters, good direction and structure and fun gameplay. It looked amazing back when, but probably not much today. Granted it's been a while since I last played it so maybe my thoughts are bit different.

-Combat system
-Graphics
-Gear upgrades
-How alive environment are with NPCs
-Weapons

IMO in those categories Unity beats all other AC's. Guess the game just fits my style. :)
