Finished the FC4 campaign today, still have things left on the map for replay value. Really a great game, I enjoyed it. That an PUBG will hold me over until FC5 comes out
That is surprising, I may have to try it, I still like FC2 the best.

I liked FC1, didnt care for 2 and 3 but that may have been for lack of patience to give it time to get better

    Sure.

I was about to do some illegal poaching after bunnies in the local forest for meat, but came across this guy instead.

It's really good. A bit rough and unforgiving, and the engine needs more optimization. But the attention to details are astonishing. For example the villagers will react to how you look, if you didn't have bath in a long while or if you're wearing dirty or broken clothes and armor. It goes for realism where everything you do can have consequences, and it doesn't hold your hand at all like many other modern roleplaying games. I mean if you forget to ask the quest giver where the person you're looking for is hiding then you don't get a magical waypoint on the map telling you. You also need to care for food and water, aswell as sleep and any wounds inflicted on you, which may bleed if you're not careful.

You need to learn how to read because reading wasn't that common back in 1400, and forging weapons and creating medicine vials aren't made with a push of a button. You need to grind up herbs, cook them, add sustenances and do it in order. My small adventure in the pictures above can result in me getting a heavy fine or even jail time because i'm not allowed to poach for food in the forest owned by the landowner or the king. There are police (or whatever they are called) roaming the woods looking for illegal poachers. I did it anyway because I wanted to give food for the poor.

Oh yeah, that game is brutal when you first start out. I just got back to it after a 6 month break and got the new expansion, Aberration. If you think the base game is difficult when you first start...Scorched Earth and Aberration are absolutely insane. Fun, but ridiculously difficult.

Plenty of good titles there to sink your teeth into. I can easily recommend Nier Automata, Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider, Deus Ex; GOTY, Deus Ex Human Revolution & Mankind Divided, Thief Gold, Thief II and Deadly Shadows, Just Cause 2 and Life is Strange. All of these are good to amazing. There are also all of the Final Finance games which varies in quality, but X/X-2 Remaster is pretty good.
