Here's some Odyssey gameplay, just for the heck of it. I had to cap FPS at 45 or else they were all over the place. Odyssey doesn't support SLI for now, and considering Origins never gained support, it probably won't, so I'm happy with a pretty steady 45, even if it did take a bit to get used to.

Oh yeah, SOTTR has, by far, the best scaling I've ever seen, and it's almost certainly because of DX12 mGPU. When I look in Nvidia Control Panel, it has SOTTR set to Single-GPU. I'm assuming that's because the game is meant to take advantage of DX12 mGPU over Nvidia's SLI implementation.

Yeah, I had V-Sync on and rarely dropped below 60 FPS, and even when I did it was usually only to 53 or 54 FPS. If this is what DX12 mGPU can do at 4K HDR, I really hope more developers start coding their games for it.

The issues I had with Shadowplay didn't occur in AC Odyssey, so it may have something to do with Tomb Raider. Maybe because I have HDR on? I don't know.
Yeah, good news if it's running that well and smoothly with DX12 mGPU. The few I know with SLI always seemed to prefer the mGPU DX12 implementation over traditional SLI.

I don't know what's going on with your shadow play. Of course I'm basic 1080P but I just made a quick video as I hadn't made one since the October update and 416.16. But shadow play seems to be running fine for me. Check the action in this scene LOL. There definitely seems to be a "mud" theme in this game. Is that a new Game Works feature, Nvidia MUD?

Yeah, that second GPU is pretty much idle. But the graphics look good and it seems one 1080 TI is handling 4K quite well. It's running smoothly from what I see.

The mud is one of my favorite things about SOTTR. Being able to cover yourself in it and hide against walls is a genius idea.

As for Odyssey, I had to turn down a couple settings to get it to run smoothly, but it's still at mostly High/Ultra settings. I could still use a bit of optimization, as there are frame drops now and then, but I'm pretty impressed with single GPU performance on it so far.

Yeah, the SOTTR hiding in the mud with a stealth attack is hilarious. Agreed, Odyssey looks to be performing well at 4K on a single 1080 TI.

I started AC Odyssey last night. I expected the graphics and game mechanics to be identical to Origins. So far it looks very similar but the graphics do seem a touch more demanding than Origins, particularly the anti aliasing settings. I'm hoping to get my normal 70-85 fps as I did in Origins. These games are very CPU heavy as well GPU but probably more CPU.

Anyone want to share their AC Odyssey benchmark results? Here's mine, quite a few spikes in there for some reason and the benchmark hitched/stuttered in a few spots. Also Origins had a CPU latency of 8-10 ms, now I up to 14 ms.

I went ahead and ran one real quick. I get quite a bit of hitching in the benchmark as well.

@blackrose Interesting. Yours looks a bit more consistent while mine has a lot of pronounced drops/spikes. I'll have to wait for my buddy with similar setup to see what theirs is like.

So that's no SLI support for Odyssey right? Damn that will be tough at 4K!

Yep. No SLI support and not even a way to "force" it with another profile yet. I've got FPS capped at 45 and Adaptive AA on, so it's not that bad. Definitely not the kind of performance that I'm used to though.
