No worries about the game play. It’s the OSD data I’m looking at. That’s pretty good scaling, you definitely have those GPU temps in check (great clocks) and you were right when you said you were running SOTTR 4K as smooth as butter. The FPS data is both strong and consistent and that’s in DX12.

    Thanks man.
    All good my man anytime

Tommy; seems you are now top dog google search. Hopefully this inspires more Ten Forum members to post OSD gaming vids.

Also, as you mentioned, seems your 2X 1080 TI's are beating out the RTX 2080 TI in SOTTR.

Strange I'm not seeing RTX 2080 TI vs 2x 1080 TI SOTTR comparisons in some of these performance analysis reviews.

If you saw the 2080 Ti price in NZ the US price might not seem so bad after all, lol. I wouldn't discount Game Bar, try and see what you think. It does operate smoothly, probably on par with GFE but doesn't seem to offer much control over the recording quality.
You think it's bad now the next card will be even higher bottom line anything above a 1080Ti will pretty much be bought after another Gen comes out because only a few will shell this kind of money for a GPU

I will admit if i get a bonus or something i'll grab one because it's extra money i wasn't expecting but to flat out to buy one now makes no sense

Alright, so I'm working on getting some game play videos, but I'm running into issues. Game Bar causes my game to slow down to about half of what it normally runs, so that's out. Shadowplay works to record the video, despite a lot of flickering when the interface is up, but the audio is all just a loud buzzing noise. It's odd.

Edit: OK, here's some ROTTR. It's really just me climbing and running around, as the video I did with the fighting in it had the buzzing issue. I'm gonna try to get some AC Odyssey as well, assuming I can work out the kinks with Shadowplay. Also, RIP Lara.

Thanks Blackrose. I think previously you mentioned some temperature issues (SLI). I can see your temps/clocks aren't maybe as good as Tommy but you have FE's. That data for FE's is looking pretty good to me. Are you locked 60 FPS with Vsync on? Scaling looks good.

Man, you are running as smooth as butter as well. Don't know if it's correct, but I read on the Guru3D SOTTR review that the game is one of the better DX12 implementations out there. Don't know how many games out there can run SLI and 4K but SOTTR seems to be handling it well. Hopefully a sign of the coming times.

Not sure what your problem is with shadow play and the 416.16 driver. I haven't experienced issues so far.

PS: RIP Lara is habitual with me.

Surprised Game Bar is slowing you down. Has it been updated in the 1809 update? The interface has been changed again by the looks of it. At least use Game Bar to turn on Game Mode, it optimizes Windows for gaming.

Oh yeah, SOTTR has, by far, the best scaling I've ever seen, and it's almost certainly because of DX12 mGPU. When I look in Nvidia Control Panel, it has SOTTR set to Single-GPU. I'm assuming that's because the game is meant to take advantage of DX12 mGPU over Nvidia's SLI implementation.

Yeah, I had V-Sync on and rarely dropped below 60 FPS, and even when I did it was usually only to 53 or 54 FPS. If this is what DX12 mGPU can do at 4K HDR, I really hope more developers start coding their games for it.

The issues I had with Shadowplay didn't occur in AC Odyssey, so it may have something to do with Tomb Raider. Maybe because I have HDR on? I don't know.

The Game Bar issue may have had something to do with Tomb Raider. I was having issues with Shadowplay with Tomb Raider as well, and they disappeared when I used it with Assassin's Creed Odyssey.
