    Games are running soooo smooth now it's amazing! I can't believe it took MS a year to acknowledge it, and another year to fix it... But I'm glad it's resolved. I barely see stutters in games, but I haven't tested the sutterfest called FFXV yet. If it still poops out then I know it's not my machine.

    Slight problem. After manually checking for updates it wants to download and install the Windows 1809 feature update also. You guy's didn't get that?

    Are you happy with an upgrade to 1809 and not clean installing or will that come later? Looks like I'm being forced into the upgrade now.

    Just fired this up for the first time a couple hours ago. Not sure how into the "choose your own adventure" style dialogue I am yet, but so far, so good.

    @blackrose Did you get the deluxe edition to get early access? I thought official release was Oct 5.

    Yes, I'm ok with an upgrade edition. If it causes some problems or things start going wrong, I'll clean install.

    Yeah, I got the Gold Edition, accidentally. I meant to get the Deluxe Edition when I went in to Gamestop, but mixed the names up.

    I'm cool with it, though. Early access, plus a remastered AC3 down the line, which means I might actually get around to playing that one.

    Seems I have no choice, the 1809 upgrade is all done on my machine. I'll probably clean install it at some stage when I feel up to the job.

    My Windows.old is only 5.76 GB but it seems like almost 30GB is missing on my C: Is this upgrade hiding a heap of files in some other location?
