Morrowind GOTY, heavily modded with Tamriel Rebuilt, alongside Tales of Immortal or otherwise known as "Eight Desolations of Ghost Valley," and Silent Hill 4: the Room via PCSX2.

    How is Tamriel Rebuilt?
I have it downloaded from 3 or 4 years ago... but never actually installed it.
Just grabbed the least version today....
will it conflict with the mod, Morrowind Graphics & Sound OverHAUL (v3.0)_Final?

You'd want avoid MGSO 3.0 due to all the outdated components it uses. It's good for something quick and sloppy, but definitely causes more headaches and frustrations down the the line compared to any merit of convenience it may offer.

Unfortunately, MGSO also conflict's with Tamriel Rebuilt due to it's "On the Rock's" plugin which creates invisible wall's, and malformed terrain throughout Tamriel Rebuilt's worldspace.

Hey, no problem glad to be of help. It seems all your option's are good in their own way, like, if your CD's still work go for it. You can also install the no CD patch and run the files on their own for convenience without the physical media if necessary.

But at that point I suppose you'd want to install either the GoG version, or Steam variant to the same effect. Personally, I'd go for GoG in regard's to their reputation of the Bethesda games on their end not having issues with thing's like script extender's or whatever due to Steam overlay, but that's just me.

You'd probably also want to install MGE XE (Morrowind Graphic's Extender) if you want all those nice and pretty shader/lighting effects that came with MGSO, you can also increase view distance so the world space doesn't look like it's completely shrouded in fog. MCP (Morrowind Code Patch) also increase stability, performance, provides fixes, and the ability to tailor gameplay mechanics and element's at your discretion.

You'd also want to pick up Morrowind Optimization Patch for a massive global fps increase. And lastly you'd also want MWSE for mod's if you didn't know about that already.

EDIT: About Tamriel Rebuilt, it's... Amazing. An exotic and true to vision masterpiece of what one would expect Morrowind's mainland to be, with sprawling massive cities and quest's to accompany them, stories and politics to invest yourself in, rich cultural history left to the player's scrutiny, overloading one's senses.

I would advise against installing the developmental complete landmass version, as it does tank framerate's compared to the incomplete but still sizeable and better optimized version.

I intend to keep it simple with a few mods and the Tamriel rebuilt mod

Then do install MCP and Morrowind Optimization Patch, they don't necessarily add anything to the game, but do significantly improve it's performance and stability by themselves.

Edit: Even better, if you don't plan to add any textures, use Project Atlas as-well.

    bbbb

Certainly, I remembered my very first time with Morrowind without these mods. I had fully expected a experience similar to Oblivion... Only to end up nearly spitting blood after the first hour of confusion and frustration.
