You know how Microsoft skipped Windows 9 and went straight to 10?

Well, Bethesda just took it to a whole new level! From Fallout 4 to...

I dunno about Fallout 76... It's not made by Obsidian, and it's too early for another full Fallout game by Bethesda. Although it is possible that it's out-sourced to another company who've been working on F76 for over 4 years. It's confirmed that the game is "something different" than what we are used to. My guess is something online related or a live-service component, possible connections to the build mode from F4 considering the quote from the teaser. We'll see at E3 in two weeks.

Apparently Fallout 76 has been compared to Ark: Survival Evolved in terms of gameplay. That actually makes me quite interested in it if it's true.

Personally I would love to see the franchise going back to its roots with an isometric camera and an emphasis on roleplaying, which was very lacking in Fallout 4, and one of many gripes I had with the game. I know this won't happen because it's too niche and not enough money to be gained by Bethesda there. It makes sense it will be a survival-type game like ARK considering the rumors, but I wouldn't be shocked if they're riding the trendwave and implement a battleroyale/arena online component aswell because of easy monetization. Whatever it is it's going to be buggy on release, as it is the tradition with Bethesda game studios.

Who haven't seen it? It made quite the headlines and discussions over the past week. What do you think about there being women in the frontlines and on the cover on a WW2 game if you don't mind me asking? Me, I don't care as long as the game is good.

I'm not real impressed with the game, so far. As far as the Women in the front lines, It doesn't bother me except I wonder how factual it is. Knowing how things were in the 1940's, I seriously doubt it.

That's neat. Obviously there were women in WW2 as resistance fighters, agents, partisans, but a lot of people question the idea of women in BF5 as direct soldiers, I think that is what created this discussion about feminism and propaganda by EA/Dice's part. Also the game have prosthetic arms. I believe it's accurate, but did they really send people with a prosthetic arm to war? I don't care for any of this because I choose gameplay over political-correctness anyday, but I can kind of see why some people are riled up over this when the developers are making a WW2 game where history is set in stone. Maybe they should just call it a fictional war game or something instead, like what Wolfenstein did?

Speaking of Wolfenstein, I should play it some time

I know there were many Women in Underground resistance organizations, but I still am highly doubtful there were Women on the front lines of the Military. That is a relatively recent topic of discussion in our Military today.
