I've long had Diamondback - it was the first exotic weapon I got (though I don't use shotguns). I didn't get it from Kenly College or NY. I got it from a mission in DC shortly after completing the WoNY campaign.

Anyway, I've not gotten any exotics in N.Y. Most videos I've seen today have you farming for exotics in DC. Yeah, I've seen the video showing you can get Merciless in NY, but the only 3 times I got Merciless was in DC's Jefferson Trade Center.

Someone's spending a lot hours on Division

I've been doing some damage with the Strikers Gear Set and got another exotic drop.

That's a nice set. I use it for high weapons damage where I have to do a lot of running and gunning like in the server room in the Pentagon mission where the EMP generators prevent you from using any skill weapons - a must if playing solo. You can also use the System Corruption set here for a high armor build. Primary play gear is Hard Wired

The Corvid-19 lockdown provides a lot of free time for gaming. I'm currently doing the Keener's Legacy Manhunt missions. Also completed the Firewall specialization, even though I'm not using it. Using the Sharpshooter specialization instead.

Oh, BTW, the only exotic I actively sort was Merciless. And that's because I had Ruthless at level 1. All my other exotics I just happened by or found in caches

What are you currently doing or chasing in game?

Switched to world mode challenging and been sticking to missons in DC or any territory with teal gear available. Sorry if I asked before but what caches were you referring to? I'm guessing supply rooms and lock boxes.
