No there is an option to return to DC when you open the map by long pressing a button.
You can also leave the building and walk towards the lake (where you were dropped off) and you'll be asked in you want to return to DC. That's the way I always left the Kenley college area. And I'm also aware of long pressing the "G" button to return to DC cause that's the method use to leave the Pentagon map area.

Wish I knew about Pentagon before going in solo. I got right to the end (which was long) but didn't stand a chance against that damn gunship! Is there some trick to downing that thing?
The gunship will attack and leave the area until you get to the area where you have download the Black Tusk Data. The way I defeated the the gunship was to take cover under the platform on the left of the map. From there targeting the big red radar or camera under the middle of the gunship will take it out quickly. A powerful rifle will do massive damage.

Oh, and it helps to clear the foot soldiers first so it's just you and the gunship. Or if you're good enough you could take out the gunship first than clear the foot soldiers.

Hey Matt, Tier 2 Level II I guess. I was looking for that before did it not change when I advanced to World Tiers?

I only have the standard edition so that college is all that is available right now. Don't I have to be higher up in the tiers for those 3 other missions or do I have to buy expansions? I remember hearing about free dlc missions being added on but I haven't seen them yet.

You're not the only one who's complained about how tough those missions are. There's posts all over the net about it, and some of the bugs there - sometimes it seems like the boss AI can be overpowering. Add the amount of time spent because you died quite a few times. And don't dare quit or you have to start all over again

That said, my frustration is I've beat each mission at least once but getting through all three at the same time without dying is the trick. And especially when you see how much time you've spent trying to complete the darn thing.

    Very frustrating

Tier 2 is too low. You'd want to be at least Tier 5. In fact (if I remember), I don't think certain areas are available until you reach a certain level/Tier. I believe Kenley College is one of those areas - World Tier 5. Tier 2 is gong to get owned!!!

So does the Camp White Oak, Manning National Zoo and Coney Island missions become available when you get higher in the tiers or do you get them with the Warlord expansion?

I think some of those areas were in the base game but could only be accessed through a season 1 pass. I know for sure there were special missions in the base game that wasn't accessible until you purchased extra content aka a Season pass.

You have the game, you could "remind" us. If you go to the helipad and get no response when trying to get to any of those areas there's your answer - Season Pass required

Thank you, at the pad I either get the College or an option to buy the expansion. I have seen conflicting answers if the Season Pass is included with Warlords or not.

Warlord is a sperare DLC at 29.99. Been conteplating on getting it my self but I'm kind of bored with the game now. And if you think Kenley collage is bad there are some already complaining certain bosses in that DLC is too strong....

Everything That Should Be Nerfed In ‘The Division 2: Warlords’ Of New York

DLC - TOM CLANCY'S THE DIVISION 2: WARLORDS OF NEW YORK EXPANSION

    Good luck.

Yes you have to be World Tier 5 to access the Episode 2-3 offsite locations. I wondered the same thing (why the locations weren't on my map) until someone clarified on the Division forums. The episode content may have been payed and became free but I'm not sure on that. You still have a bit to go but getting up to Tier 5 isn't too much work.
