In PUBG solo mode, I can't see them nor hear them coming. Don't know how I can get better under those scenarios. My nephew looked at my video. He said there are techniques for landing faster, you have to know the types of buildings that will likely have weapons and there are ways to pick up the weapons and load faster. He also said I died shooting at the guy in the window because I stayed in one place too long, someone heard it found me and came in from behind as is usually done.

He plans to drop over this weekend or next and give me some pointers. I told him it might take 52 weekends of his help before I get a kill.

He also said solo is difficult. He plans to run some coop games with me. I told him to be prepared to see his coop team reduced to one PDQ.

That is what my nephew said - have to use headset in PUBG. I would like to thank the two of you as it now allows me to blame hardware as opposed to my on line gaming skills.

My SBZ speaker software has this scout mode "feature" Never tried it. Will have to see if it helps.

Essenbe; that scout mode really made a difference for me. I have a 2.1 speaker system. I could hear footsteps so clearly where I couldn't even hear them before.

I found a pistol in a building upstairs. I heard someone come in and coming up the stairs. He went into a room without seeing me. Waited for him to come out. I shot him 3 times. Ok maybe it was chest/shoulders but I thought it was enough to kill him while he was dodging frantically. Nope. He nailed me with a submachine gun in the head and I was dead.

I can't blame hardware anymore. I am back to my original issue. I suck at PUBG

OK so I can expect dude to be running away from me in PUBG. Understandable.

Lately, as I keep dying in Solo, I decided to spectate. What I have learned is everyone in the last 20 or so still standing has a submachine gun with extended mags and a sniper rifle, grenades and a backpack to carry more stuff including bandages, painkillers, energy drinks, etc.

PUBG Solo = One big time sensitive scavenger hunt.

Capturing the Chateau in the BFV Tirailleur war story was fun. Now I am waiting for the last war story (The Last Tiger) to be released December 4.
