Welcome to the forum. Raw means its lost the paritionyou need to download specific parition recovery software which will return all the files. If its not showing in disk manager thats worrying does it show correct in the bios?

By Data Manager, do you mean Disk Management? Press the Win key+X and choose Disk Management.
The drive may be failing or has already failed. If the drive is not listed in Disk Management, it has failed.
If the drive is listed in the lower pane, but is Not Initialized, You can use the free TestDisk Program to run on the drive to try and recover your files. I have had the best luck with GetDataBack. You will need another drive of the same size or larger To restore your files to.
If you are lucky enough to recover and restore your files, you then can try Right clicking the Disk # (ie) Disk 1, Disk 2 and Initialize the drive. If that fails, you will probably will need to replace the drive

One of my WD portable hard drives turned raw last year. I made a live Linux Mint flash drive and booted the computer with that. Linux was able to see all the files on the drive. After I had them saved, I formatted the drive and am still using it today. Give Linux a try, you may get lucky. I used this guide to make the live usb flash drive.

You can also use Rufus, here is a guide

    Hi hamidi44,

You have been given many suggestions - "Raw means its lost the parition you need to download specific parition recovery software" "You can use the free TestDisk Program. I have had the best luck with GetDataBack. " " live Linux Mint flash drive" and no doubt you will be confused which route you should take. :)

OK, let us go step by step and decide which way to go.

In all these cases you must always give full details of the HDD like whether it is an internal drive or external drive, manufacturer, model No, capacity, how old is your drive , when was the last time you were able to successfully access the drive and also any event after which it became RAW and inaccessible - like you pulled it out without using safe removal or there was a sudden power outage/surge when it was being used.

    1. Please post a screenshot of Windows Disk Management showing your drive RAW.

    2. You said Minitool. What MiniTool? Power Data Recovery?? Partition Wizard??? Never mind. Do this as specified. Uninstall any MiniTool you had installed. Download , install and run MiniTool Partition Wizard Free 9.1 - yes only version 9.1. In later versions Partition Recovery is really not free -

Post a screenshot of how your drive appears in it - the very first screen that appears when you launch it.

I always believe seeing is believing :).

    ?????????????????

OK, In the absence of any information asked for but not answered

    1. If it is an internal drive - the PCB in the drive seems to have given up. No DIY data recovery is possible. Contact a competent professional data recovery service with clean room facility if you want to recover data. You can't do what they can do.

    2. If it is an external drive, the enclosure electronics, the SATA to USB bridge seems to have gone bad. You can get the HDD out of the enclosure, connect it internally in a desktop and try data recovery. This is not possible with any Western Digital portable models and all WD desktop models except Elements (Desktop). (
Do not do diskpart clean, cleanall or anything that you do not know what it will do to the HDD. You will only be making matters worse and even God can't help you.)

Hi.Thank you for all your suggestions. Today, I sent it to a Recovery Center, the pcb kit is the problem, and it's internal disk.
