    Thanks Jim.
Actually My windows 10 is now ok, but now I know one more option to prevent Windows update downloading and installing unwanted drivers.

I'm tired of the keys causing the cursor to jump around with Windows 10 in typing in multiple applications, i.e. Word, IE, Edge, or email--it didn't matter what application or program. So, I just reinstalled Windows 7. What a relief!

Yes! This is a solution I can use!
Rigth click at the Windows Icon, Select "Device Manager" (Enhedhåndtering in Danish)
Select and expand "Mouse and pointing Devices"
Right click at "Lenovo Pointing Device" and select remove.
Restart Your PC, and the Keybord work correct now. (And if You look at the Lenovo Pointing it is active again, it seems to be a conflict that happend due to the sequence the are loadet in)
I had 'ELAN Mouse' or something (I've removed already) on "Mouse and pointing Device. After remove, keyboard is working! Thank you for your important notice!:):):)

Latest widnwos upgrade 10568 in Canada

After this happening to me (This laptop I'm on) I downloaded a keyboard re-mapper
Now ive remapped all the keys the only symbol I cannot get it the question mark

I tried extended I tried rebooting and I tried enabling and disabling NumLk

For those reading this from googling the problem....

The easiest fix most people had was windows key + space bar (changes your keyboard to extended)

    if this doesn't work :
do It again to undo it, then do fn + numlk function key (and then try type uio (if u does some enter or back space command then you're in my boat)

Will try anshad suggestion but obviously with my own laptops brand. (MEDION)
Using Windows + <Spacebar> I was able to choose the US keyboard and everything was normal. Cortana in Canada is a fickle little girl on the PC and she seems to be deaf too. Of four computers only one was able to make it through the audio setup but she still doesnt understand me. Her little sister on my Nokia 635 works rather well. Big sister however usually complained that she could not hear me during her set up. Funny because her cousin Skype hears me just fine.

Well we shall see where this goes. Now to figure out why my Toshiba isnèt worthy of having 10568 appear on its upgrade list.

    Windows 10 Keyboard solution ???

    Hi

I have tried many suggestions with no luck. But somehow I tried this and it worked for me.
In Windows 10 settings in Ease of Access I changed the mouse pointer size to small ( first Setting )
Numeric Keypad to move mouse around screen.
Hold down Ctrl to speed up and Shift to slow down.
Use mouse keys when Num lock is on. ( switch to OFF ).

I am no expert but it works for me hope it someone

    Hi All,
I am having similar problems, and tried everything here but to with no success. I have an Asus s200e that had been running windows 10 for sometime. I'm gifting the laptop and decided to put a clean install of the latest windows 10 version. Since then the notebook keyboard is putting out spurious text ( e.g if I press w it initiates the w,3,4,f3 and f3 keys simultaneously). I've run the asus pc diagnostics and can see some keys don't respond at all and some work and many initiate 3 or 4 keys together.
    Things I've tried so far:
    1. Checked the key board mapping is correct.
    2. Checked a usb connected keyboard which works ok
    3. Checked the on screen keyboard which works ok
    4. Booted up in safe mode keyboard remains not working
    5. Installed the most recent keyboard drivers and checked they were ok
    6. I've uninstalled keyboard and mouse drivers and rebooted
    7. Checked out the potential numlock key issue
    8. Ran the windows troubleshooter which returned no issues
    9. Switched off the filter keys etc in settings- ease of access
    10. Turned off fast start in power options
    11. Removed Synaptics
    12. Tried Nevilles suggestion above no success
    13. Completely re -installed windows 10 anniversary version

    Hope you can help, thanks

Gosh, if certain keys are not working at all, that's usually a sign that something has gotten inside the keys and is preventing contact from being made. Unless you can pop the key caps off and clear out the crud, the only other option is to take the device into a shop and have the whole keyboard module replaced. Ouch!

Keyboard not working after upgrade windows 10

After having installed windows 10 on my Asus laptop. Some of the keys are not working. Any ideas??
Filter Keys is a feature that is designed to ignore brief or repeated keystrokes, and according to users, this feature is turned on by default on their laptops, and that’s what’s causing the keyboard issue. To fix this problem you need to turn off Filter Keys, and you can do that by following these simple steps:

    1. Go to Control Panel and open Ease of Access Center.

    This worked for me!
