It's a weird file Mike. I downloaded with Firefox and using the Download Status Bar extension it showed 100% complete and that's where it stayed. It wouldn't clear from the taskbar so I went to my download directory and it was showing the zipfile as part (meaning incomplete) although the size of the file was correct.
I've already got the .CAB file for build 7928 so just deleted the incomplete zipfile and then ran MBAM, SAS and ESET Nod32 which all showed my system was clean.
It's possibly a corrupted .zip but I don't like mysteries.
@asturias7, don't worry mate no one is blaming you for anything.
Anybody know another trusted mirror to get this driver package (7982_PG452....) beside Softpedia?
Hi,
Provided it's even better than this I'd be tempted for sure.
Anyhow, thanks for that tip on the music. That too is great and it won't get that many updates.
BTW, for those of you updating drivers regularly, you can remove old packages from your drive with a great little utility called Rapr. You can achieve the same from the command line but this is much easier:
https://driverstoreexplorer.codeplex.com/
And it's free too. Thanks to fellow member Ed Tittel for sharing it in another thread some while ago.
Cheers,
Hi,
Bookmarked the man already. Too good to miss out on.:)
