Does anyone know if Realtek changed their password, etc for their FTP site?
I'm now getting this when I put in the usual User Name and Password.

    Attachment 107812
I went to check for new Realtek drivers early this morning and got the same alert.

I don't know at this stage whether they have changed the login details or it's an internal server error. Just have to wait a while I guess, meanwhile I'm checking a few sites I know who regularly use the Realtek ftp and see if they have any ideas.

Same authentication error. Until it's resolved, here are the Microsoft Drivers which are identical --
Driver Ver. 6.0.1.7960 - be sure it's 64-bit and the correct Windows 10 Ver.
    Microsoft Update Catalog

I like to keep all my drivers and whatnot up to date, but with the latest version of this driver 6.0.1.7960. It seems there is a bug that causes the room correction settings to not save, so that you have to reset them to what you prefer, everytime you restart/turn on your computer. Any fixes for this or should I just got back to the previous version? Thanks.

At the rate Realtek put out updates nowadays, we should be at Version 6.0.1.7964 or something similar.
I've been using 7960 for the past week or so.

When I last looked at the Realtek ftp there were builds 7962 and 7969 showing but not WHQL yet.

Guess it may just be a case of constantly checking the Microsoft Update Catalog for new ones in the future

It's looking very likely that Realtek have changed the login details for their ftp server. It was really set up for techs working for computer hardware companies so I'm really surprised the plug hasn't been pulled on us well before now.
If I ever find out the new login details I'd play it differently and download the drivers to my own PC, rent some webspace and upload the drivers to that as long as I could get enough bandwidth.

I can't even get the updates from Microsoft to work for me. My computer just doesn't want to update via their cab files, etc for some reason. So the ones from the Realtek site were quite useful for me.
And yeah, I'm surprised it was available to us, shall we say, for all this time seeing as it was never really meant for the general public.

I'll also be on the look out for the new password, etc if it becomes available.

Extract the cab file. In device manager, under Sound, Video and Game Controls, Right Click on Realtek High Definition Audio, Select Update Driver Software and Browse to the extracted cab folder. The driver will install.
