Everything is released Via Windows Update in Windows 10, (all drivers after AU need a Digital Cert. -WHQL) that's why the Drivers on the Realtek Site are still June 2015.........but they are available many other places too including here
that doesn't make sense because before Windows 10 was released they weren't updating there drivers promptly, and what about people who are not on Windows 10?
i don't understand why cant they update there drivers on their website, like everyone else, Nvidia AMD, Intel etc, it just straight out laziness, even the website looks something from from 1998.

Realtek recommend users going to the manufacturer of their motherboard's site to get Realtek HD drivers.
Realistically there are only two ways to get the latest drivers, either from the Microsoft Update Catalog or from the Realtek ftp server.

Realtek is not a Retailer ... it does not Sell anything directly to the Public, only to other Companies who are supposed to Support the Product they Sell , not Realtek , so I am just happy DooGie has a pass for the FTP Site.

Both the Drivers on the FTP and at Windows Catalog Support Win7 and UP , I no longer have Win7 , so I can not confirm Windows Update Updates Realtek Chip there like in Win10...if you let Win10 do Drivers for you ? I don't.

Do you guys still get pops and crackles with the Realtek drivers? It's been like this for as long as I have known about Realtek. I think it might be latency issue...

I get it when exiting apps that have been using sound or when turning the volume right down to off.

Not on my X58 or X99 systems

LatencyMon or programs like it may help you pinpoint it...
