rsdnn. It may be an idea to point out that build 7867 is specifically for Intel brand motherboards. This Realtek driver also includes Intel soundchip software.
If not running an Intel brand motherboard you can still install the Realtek driver but decline to install the Intel soundchip software during the installation procedure and everything should be ok.

If it's got a Realtek soundchip yes you can install it but during the install it will ask you if you want to install the Intel sound software. Say no to this and it will continue and install the Realtek drivers only.
