For me I connect to both links in under 30 seconds, yes a lot slower than most sites but I do check that any link I post is working and both of the above posted ones definitely are.

Ya it shouldn't take longer then a minute at most I would think. Maybe you have an extension messing it up, i'm not too sure though. I onl;y have Ad Block Plus and HTTPS Everywhere and I am able to connect. So try disabling any you have, it is the only thing I could think of other then maybe it is your browser, I use Chrome 64-bit.

Using Firefox here with no problems. Only relevant extension is Adblock Plus.

My internet connection 76Mbps down and 18.7Mbps up.

You have to bear in mind that the Realtek ftp site is based in Taiwan and a lot depends on how the routing is handled by your ISP.

If you have problems it may be an idea to run a tracert command to the Realtek server to determine where your routing is going bad.

the x64/64bit for v7764 on MS Update Catalog is still broken (it's Microsoft's fault for posting a non-working link - send a complaint to MS so they can fix it) but you can get 7764 from Softpedia drivers.

Or update to 7765, 7767 or higher which I did on all my Win7, 8.1 & 10 machines.

erpster I just noticed that there is also build 7762 for windows 10 only hidden away on the Realtek ftp. In the WHQLed directory.

I don't see any reason to give this a tryout as 7765 is working fine here.
