is why i have not updated in at least a month i still have the issue with the realtek sound manager leaving my task tray despite me having it set to show in there.
Build 7654WHQL of the Realtek HD drivers released today 06/11/15
ftp://ftp3.realtek.com.tw/Realtek/Ge..._Win7_WHQL.zip
username : spcust
password : hwwk758z
I've downloaded these but not had a chance to try them out yet.
Hopefully 7654 is better than 7647. Perhaps Realtek was looking to break something so they have something to fix since it seems like their driver releasing has slowed down compared to before.
is that link suppose to d-load the direct zip folder just making sure, Almighty1 have you tried them did it fix anything ??
It's ftp and usually downloads the zip file which you extract afterwards, for me, I extract with WinRAR. Haven't downloaded it yet.
ok cool :) will try this out hope they did it right and no longer have to go to control panel to open audio manager that would be great :)
I've installed these now and soundwise they seem fine.
What was broken in 7647 now seems fixed. I feel it's worth giving them a try.
Also the Realtek HD Audio Manager is loading to the tray on system startup.
UPDATE
I'd installed these through device manager but was so pleased that I then did a clean install of them using the setup.
On my system everything is running as it should :)
As an aside, it's well worth running CCleaner Registry cleaner after uninstalling the Realtek HD drivers. It's amazing how much crap is left behind.
